The letter said, “This church is taking advantage of poor Muslims of the area and converting them to infidels’s religion of Christian”

“Jihad is already started in Bangladesh and we are quietly following you. You will be killed wherever you go. None of you and your family will be spared from our Jihad” it said.

Simon Halder told ABC News Reports Now that he is now worried about his and his family’s security and not living in one place fearing these militant group and just praying for life to the God.

Mongla Police Station OC Lutfor Rahman said they learnt of the threat in the morning and a police report (General Diary) was filed by Mr Halder and they are looking for his security. But he also said that it is not possible to provide full 24 hours of security for anyone due to shortage of staff at the police station.

Our reporter has also tried to contact District Commissioner Jahangir Alam but he refused to comment as it is a sensitive issue.
