A Bangladesh Chhatra League man was injured during a clash with Islami Chhatra Shibir at Chittagong College in the port city this morning.
Injured Shaon was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital with head injuries, reports our Chittagong correspondent.
The clash ensued around 11:00am as Shibir activists attacked BCL men when the latter were placing wreaths at the Shaheed Minar on the campus marking the country’s 45th victory day, said Hasmat Ali Rasel, organising secretary of Chittagong city BCL unit.
Shibir activists wielding iron rods and stones attacked the BCL men, triggering the clash, the BCL leader said.
The clash was continuing till 1:00pm when the report was filed.
