Md Shamsuzzaman new railway DG

Engineer Md Shamsuzzaman, a member of BCS (Railway: Engineering) Cadre Service, has joined as the Director General of Bangladesh Railway (BR).

Before assuming the office of director general of BR, Shamsuzzaman served as the Additional Director General (RS) of Bangladesh Railway, a press release of BR said.

Md Shamsuzzaman joined Bangladesh Railway on February 17, 1985, as assistant mechanical engineer and served in various capacities including chief mechanical engineer, senior assistant secretary and joint director general (mechanical) of the railway.
